Maverick is the only perlino stallion standing in KY with AA Ee CrCr color genetics, in fact, there are only about 5 in the entire country. He is double Agouti (Homozygous AA) and double Cream (Homozygous CrCr) and Heterozygous Black (Ee) with no markings, standing at a solid 15.3hh. He will always sire a buckskin or palomino with any black, bay, chestnut or sorrel mares and any spotted or roan black, bay, sorrel or chestnut mares. HE WILL NEVER SIRE ANY BLACK, SMOKY BLACK or SMOKY CREAM FOALS - we guarantee it.. He is sired by Ivory Man, a 16hh cremello stallion recognized by TWHBEA as one of the top breeding stallions from 2003-2007. Ivory Man was sired by the great Royal Ivory. Maverick has an incredible short back, very nice correct conformation and long striding gait with beautiful head and short hooked ears. He will run right up to you to say "Hello" and loves attention. He has a very sweet disposition and a nice sane head. He is the only horse I have ever had that throws his head and whinnies in excitement when he sees me coming his way. When out in the pasture, he is always the first horse to come running. I believe strongly in the mental health of my stallion and he is allowed to enjoy his life with his herd of mares and foals as much as possible. During peak sun light hours, you will see him up in his stall to keep his delicate pink skin from burning, but the rest of the time, he is free to enjoy his time how he likes. He has thrown his excellent qualities to every foal this year. They all have a natural running walk, sweet dispositions and very nice conformation. He is a must see, you won't be disappointed!!!
